Winter is over…. yay!
It’s safe to say here in the South,
you can bring your RV out and begin dethawing…
Before you rush to the road be sure to check your de-winterize!
For those who winterized with air:
Flush your RV pipes with water & consider sanitizing your lines before you hit the road
Test your batteries and replace, if needed any expired carbon monoxide and fire alarm detectors
Yes- they have expiration dates on them… you have to check the dates on the information tag
If you have a water heater was in bypass mode, be sure to install water heater plug and/or anode rod (depending on the brand of water heater you have) and remove out of bypass mode.

For those who winterized with anti-freeze:
Flush your RV pipes with water until all the food grade/RV antifreeze (AF) is removed from your lines.
Don’t forget your Fridge’s icemaker and water line (for those with residential fridges installed)
